@eve92032 Dark Chocolate – This type of chocolate has the highest concentration of caffeine and theobromine. Therefore, as little as two small one-ounce squares of baking chocolate can be toxic to a 20-pound dog (or 0.3 ounce per pound of body weight). If its severe poisoning, it can lead to cardiac arrest resulting in death. If its milk chocolate, lower concentrations of poison for the dog, but in this case, it was dark chocolate.

@hymen1847 Totally. How did you guess? No, it actually doesnt. People that arent funny/witty enough to be a good comedian resort to vulgarity. Bill Cosby, Mitch Hedberg, Jeff Foxworthy, none of them swear/swore and they are also some of the best comedians. Swearing is also a sign of stupidity.
Enzyme in cocoa is poisonous to dogs. I have the solution to making the dog drink the hydrogen peroxide. I filled a turkey baster and put it down his gullet. Emergency vet on the phone told me give him half a cup, wait a little, do another half cup if that does not work. My 68 pound Basset Hound can open zippers with his lips. He got into my friend’s purse and the bird-brained dog ate a whole pack of mint gum with xylitol, very deadly for dogs. Best dog barf ever, though… very minty.

Yes, positively no splintering. Raw bones are relatively soft and pliable. The bones and cartilage are actually quite good for cleaning the plaque off their teeth.
That’s really the main benefit, for as you say, just because it’s what they’d do in the wild doesn’t make it better nutrition. It’s good once a week, perhaps, as a treat.
Being evolved from carrion eaters, dogs have much stronger digestive systems and stomach acid than us. Most everything foul gets eviscerated in there.
